LIFE™ • EVOLVE® Laser System • Fusion™Fiber
The LIFE procedure uses Selective Light Vaporization (SLV) to eliminate unwanted soft tissue using the EVOLVE Laser System and Fusion Fiber. With its wavelength, pulse and radiation pattern combination, the EVOLVE Laser System produces unparalleled results that can eliminate both scarring and tissue damage. Compared to traditional surgery, SLV is a low-trauma, low-pain, and comfortable alternative.
Tissue Interaction
Because soft tissue contains a high percentage of water, a surgical laser must be well absorbed in water to ablate tissue properly. Also, absorption in hemoglobin is imperative for char-free coagulation and successful hemostasis. The significance of the EVOLVE Laser System is that it provides the highest absorption in water and hemoglobin from the same wavelength . The fiber radiation pattern ensures the effective delivery and focus to the tissue.
